August 5th thru 9th 2007

To all my friends,

On Sunday August 5th I left Columbia, MO at 8:45 a.m. and I arrived in Duluth, MN. at 9:30 p.m.

I traveled 638 miles on this day.
On Monday August 6th I went to Kitchi-Gammi Park at Brighton Beach Duluth, MN. I had fun throwing rocks into Lake Superior. I helped cook hot dogs and I roasted marshmallows.

I also went to the Enger Observation Tower in Duluth, MN. It was very high up and cold up there.

It was cool here today. It was only 69 degrees for the high temperature.
On Tuesday August 7th I toured the Stora-Enso Duluth Paper Mill. I watched a movie about how paper is made. On the tour I got to see the machines that make paper for newspaper adds and magazines.

I spent the rest of the day at the Kitchi-Gammi Park at Brighton Beach Duluth, MN.

On Wednesday August 8th I visited Lake Superior Zoo-Duluth. My favorite animal at the zoo was the white polar bear. I got to feed a lama, goat and donkey. 

I spent the rest of the day at the Kitchi-Gammi Park at Brighton Beach Duluth, MN.

It was very cool and windy by the lake today. I had to wear my jacket.
On Thursday August 9th I helped mom wash clothes.
