November 30th to December 5th 2014

On Sunday, November 30th we left home at 4:00 am and we arrived in Duluth, Minnesota at 3:30 pm. After we checked in our condo we went to the Walmart Supercenter in Superior, WI to get some groceries for the week. We traveled 637 miles on this day.

On Monday, December 1st we went shopping for a desk chair and a desk. We found a desk chair but not a desk that was the right size. The Omish store in Duluth is going to make us one that is the right size and will deliver it when we return to Duluth.
On Tuesday, December 2nd Andy and Janice went to the Duluth Cinema and saw the Disney movie "Penguins of Madagascar" while dad did some painting and replaced some receptacles and lightswitches. We all visited the Bentleyville "Tour of Lights" in Duluth, MN at 5:00 pm when it opened and we stayed until 7:10 pm. We all really enjoyed all the lights. Andy also enjoyed the firepits that were there to warm up and to roast marshmallows. They also offered free hot chocolate, cookies and popcorn. We drank hot chocolate and ate cookies. Andy wanted to walk all around a second time in which we did. We really enjoyed the Christmas light show this year. The weather was not to bad, it was around 25 degrees that evening.
On Wednesday, December 3rd we all just relaxed, walked around the hotel, walked along Lake Superior at the lakewalk and went to Dairy Queen for some ice cream.
On Thursday, December 4th we all just relaxed, went for a walk to the areal lift bridge and walked along the lake the lakewalk.
On Friday, December 5th we left Duluth, MN at 7:01 am and we returned home at 6:59 pm. We traveled 645 miles on this day.

Total miles traveled on this trip = 1365.
